Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, have discovered a new color called ‘olo’, visible only through laser stimulation of the retina’s M cones. Described as a vivid blue-green, ‘olo’ can’t be displayed on screens. Five participants who experienced it gave similar descriptions, though some scientists argue it’s just a saturated green.
