Researchers at the University of Sydney found that plant-based proteins, like chickpeas and tofu, are associated with longer life expectancy and reduced mortality. The study analyzed global data from 101 countries (1961–2018) , highlighting plant protein’s role in lowering risks of chronic illnesses such as heart disease and diabetes. Russia removes Taliban from list of banned terrorist groups

Russia has officially removed Taliban from its list of banned terrorist groups after over 20 years. The move aims to normalize ties with Afghanistan’s Taliban-led government, which took power after the U.S. withdrawal in 2021. President Putin previously called the Taliban an “ally” against terrorism, especially after the deadly ISIS-Khorasan attack in Moscow in March 2024 that killed 145 people.

Qatar’s Emir meets Putin to discuss Gaza and Syria conflicts

Delhi Assembly to go paperless from upcoming Monsoon session
